The end of another chapter - Cheers to Burdwood Surgery in Thatcham

Ive had a good six months at Burdwood and made lots of new friends.  They have taught me so much, not only about medical matters, but also about life.  All of them have something unique and special to offer, especially Kerry Rolls, you're a crazy woman - thank you for everything.  Thank you to all of them.

So now its time to move on to pastures new and start my new job next week.

Unwritten Story

When I think of sad moments or violent and angry times in my life, I remember them as scenes that I have been witness to.  I am the observer and the story unfolds before me.  I see the sadness in her eyes as she waves goodbye to the tall figure standing in the shadows on the platform.................

Rain

Missing Africa

I miss the sand between my toes

and the warm berg wind that blows

I miss the dry brown grass in winter

and the smell of a veld fire.

I miss the violent summer storms

and the lightening out at sea.

But most of all I miss Africa

and the part of it that was me.
