Snow Thoughts

Soft snow underfoot as I wander through the forest.
Only my thoughts for company, I walk on for hours.
I came out here to escape my thoughts, but they intrude constantly.
I need to be free of them if only for a day
If only for a night

We need to stop the fighting
We need to stop the war
We need to spread the love
between the rich and the poor.

We have to look beyond
The differences we show
And find the common ground
And let our love grow.

We shouldn’t worry about his faith
Or the language that he speaks
Because we’re all of us
 God’s children
None of us are freaks.

O God,
whose love restores
the brokenhearted of this world:
pour out your love,
we beseech you,
upon those who feel
lonely, abandoned, or unloved.
Strengthen their hope
to meet the days ahead;
give them the courage
to embrace those who are different;
and bless them with the joy
of your eternal peace and love.
Amen

Wales Cont.

A cave in the rocks

Feeling a bit sleepy

Having a 5 minute rest (well earned)

So many colourful buildings.

Aberaeron Harbour

Low tide at the harbour

A splash of sunshine

Zach's baguette rock

Too many to choose from :)

Relaxing on the only "soft" spot I could find.

Wales 2013 - Natures Base Camp Site

The big tent.  Quite cozy once you get into the swing of things.  Not so good for old bones though.

Our diningroom/lounge/kitchen.

I slept in this little tent for one night, couldn't get comfortable and felt quite restricted.

The campsite was set out really nicely, with plenty of space for privacy.

Overlooking a part of the bay at New Quay.

So many twisty turns, with all the pretty little houses lining the streets.

Another part of the bay.

All the colourful little boxes on the hillside.

Low tide in the yacht part of the bay.

Waiting on the pier for our ship to come in and take us on a trip.

Out in the bay.

On our way to look for dolphins.

Beautiful rock formations and caves.

Seagull trying to hitch a ride.
